Mark Eagles
Mark Eagles

- Director 

Mark has a background as a PV/BESS installer/contractor and inspector in residential and commercial solar and has worked in the renewables industry for over 20 years, Mark is the technical guy and was Head of Engineering at SolarZero. 

Mark has also been part of the SEANZ Tech Team for many years, is a member of the joint Australia and NZ renewable energy standards group EL042 for SEANZ, and he has worked closely on behalf of SEANZ and SZ with Standards NZ, Worksafe, NZ Fire Service and others.   

Mark has been involved with the installation of thousands of batteries, a career highlight for Mark was designing and implementing a 736kWh Battery Energy Storage System to add extra capacity to a  Network Company in a remote location.

John Craig
John Craig

- Director 

John is a Project Manager with over 20 years of experience successfully delivering projects on time within scope, and budget for high profile companies and government organisations in often in hazardous environments. 

A career highlight for John was being the Programme Manager for an innovation pilot of a Demand and Response system with Transpower and Ara Ake to increase SolarZero’s fleet capacity from 16MW to 30MW and create a virtual power plant (VPP) which could support the national grid during low residual energy events which occur mainly during the winter peaks. 

John has experience in delivering Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), has worked on many construction projects and understands the importance of doing what you say you're going to do.
